This is the second Breville canister I have bought, as I was really impressed with the first one. Simply, it works. The idea is simple, the action is simple and the seal holds. I have tried it for over a week at a time and there is no problem. It is solid, appears to be well made and is stylish. I highly recommend this canister. :)

Great Canister!
I have used other dedicated coffee bean canisters with no success. They have only kept there seal and, hence, vacuum for several weeks at best. This canister has an extremely simple design and keeps the vacuum for over 2 weeks. I cannot attest to it holding the seal longer, as I need to replace my hopper relatively regularly. I plan to get another in the near future as I need two - I buy 1 kg of beans at a time and the canister holds 500 grams. Hey, 600 grams at a push. I highly recommend it.
